Terms of use

Short version: the site is free, your tour is yours, the event data is best effort, and accounts that abuse other members lose them.

The service

A catalogue of events and a tour planner. Free, and no account needed to browse, build or share. An account adds saving across devices, suggesting events, and the members features.

Your content

What you type stays yours: a tour name, a suggestion, your profile. The site uses it only to run the features you point it at: a shared tour is shown to whoever holds the link, a suggestion lands in the review queue. Nothing is sold or passed on; Privacy has the full picture.

Conduct

Don't impersonate people, don't harass members, don't spam the suggestion queue. Your note to friends is about you: any link in it must be your own and lead where it says. Every member can block and report, and reports are read by a human. An account that keeps abusing others can be muted, taken off the Travel map, or banned from signing in.

Use the catalogue through this site, for your own travel. Don't copy it in bulk, scrape it, or republish it. The event listing is compiled by hand, and the database right in it is reserved. Sharing a tour link, exporting your own tour to a calendar, and quoting an event with a link back are all fine.

The event data

Dates and details are checked against each organiser's own site where possible and labelled when unconfirmed, but they can still be wrong, or change late. Confirm with the organiser before booking travel. The site takes no bookings and no payments, and is offered as is.

Your account

Delete it whenever you like. Profile, tours and friendships go with it. Privacy says exactly what is stored while it exists.

The legal bit

Run by one person from Denmark, under Danish law. These terms can change as the site does; the date below moves when they do. Questions: hello@kimchi.tours.
